        FRAMES OXIDIZE IN THE SUN

This happens to metal frame windows painted bronze and black . With time those frames lose some of their color. Try a little car wax. Most window manufacturers use a baked-on enamel paint that a little waxing may bring back it's original luster. Follow manufactures instructions on applying wax.

        KEEPING THE GLASS AND FRAMES CLEAN

At least once a year, vacuum out the tracks that the windows and patio door slide in. Get all the dirt out. In a high dust environment there is a possibility for a build up of dirt in the window tracks. If the tracks are grimy, or sticky with dirt, use a spray cleaner, like FANTASTIKâ, on a rag and wipe out the embedded dirt. Don't let lots of soapy water run into the frame or the parts inside. Let it dry completely. Use a common window cleaner with a lintless cloth, sponge, or chamois to clean the glass. If you have one, a rubber squeegee will speed glass drying. Window glass cleaner may be used  on the sash and frame, or a mild detergent solution may be used instead.
